Author Claims America Will Unite At The Blackjack Table

Glen Wiggy, a blackjack author, blogger and writer for the Huffington Post, believes that he has come up with the ideal solution for unity in America. After the campaigns and elections are over, the atmosphere of political hostility, debates and volley of questions and answers, there is a desire for harmony and to see things to settle down.
Wiggy is the author of 1536 Free Waters and Other Blackjack Endeavors–Finding Profit and Humor in Card-Counting. He believes that if politicians and those who shared different views were to sit down at a blackjack table together, that they would be able to resolve their differences. “Where else in America can you see an investment banker, tattooed biker, undergraduate fine arts major, Latin King’s gang member, Iraqi war veteran, kindergarten teacher, and elderly nun, all sitting at the same table? When the cards are right, these people will even high-five each other. That’s what our country needs now. Togetherness,” he stated.
Although highly unrealistic and not in the least bit practical, this little tidbit of blackjack humor does point to a need for harmony and a desire for unity among the people.
