Blackjack Dealer Admits to Steal from Casino

Last month a dealer at Dakota Sioux Casino plead guilty to working with others to steal more than $10,000 from his employer by rigging games.
Jeremy Brown, aged 42, admitted to his crimes this week when he plead guilty to a conspiracy charge in US federal court. He admitted to helping out in the conspiracy to fleece the casino out of the money. He did this alongside Jordan Rondell, Fern Gill, and Lito Bolocon, who’ve also been charged with the crime. Bolocon served as a pit boss, while Brown and Gill were dealers that took part in the theft, rigging games as Rondell won money he shouldn’t have. This happened as all employees paid out on losing hands.
The group of players did this crime over just two days, December 31st, 2015 and January 1st, 2016, but took the large sum of money in the process. The ring was busted in February.
Brown is the only party to plead guilty, and his testimony will be used against the others, all of whom plead not guilty. He will face sentencing on August first, where he faces up to 5 years in prison and $250,000 in fines. He has agreed to pay restitution in the case.
