Kistra Fells, one of the 500 blackjack dealers at Potawatomi Bingo Casino, says that she decided to become a dealer because she wanted to do something different.
Fells, who just turned 30, is a resident of Milwaukeean. After she graduated from Wauwatosa West High School, she realized that college wasn’t her cup of tea. She got a dealer job at Potawatomi Bingo Casino and feels at home there.

Speaking about the training she took before becoming a blackjack dealer, she said that she underwent a blackjack course for around five weeks, during which she learned the basics of dealing. She said that she did not know anything about blackjack before that, but learned the game from her relatives because she did not want to enter the class “completely clueless.”
Fells deals games such as Roulette, Three Card, Craps, Spanish, Four Card, Casino War, and Let It Ride. The only games she doesn’t deal are Pai Gow Poker and Baccarat.
